Make sure to read all the information below before dropping off or mailing in your consignment!

 Sage Resale Consignment Policies

  • For consignments we follow our “What Sells Best” list below… if you have any brands/styles not listed, you can email us at shopsageresale@gmail.com - Send us some pictures, and we will let you know if we think it will sell.
  • All consignments must be turned in with a consignment form completed.
  • Minimum of 10 items are required to start a consignment batch // no maximum (large batches may take longer to get started)
  • All items must be freshly washed, unless new with tags attached- shoes and bags cleaned or wiped off to the best of your ability.
  • Please look over your items and remove anything with pilling, holes, stains or excessive wear.
  • You are responsible for getting consignment to us, either dropping off or mailing in your items.
  • If you are mailing in your consignment, email us to confirm address, shipping date and tracking number.
  • Items must be ready to sell. We will not post any items that need to be washed or have any flaws // Sage Resale is an online store and customers cannot see items in person to determine the condition so we generally only accept new or like new items.
  • If we receive items that don't fit the guidelines and we are unable to post, you can choose to have them donated or shipped back to you. You will be responsible for shipping costs.
  • After your batch has been posted for 30-40 days, and you’ve been paid out, all left over items become property of Sage Resale and may be donated. (Unless you marked on your consignment form that you wanted your items back)
  • If your chose to pickup leftover items, you have 7 days to pick up before they become property of Sage Resale and may be donated.

*** We don't accept take any kind of formal/business wear, scrubs, school gear - anything older than a few years. We do not accept Walmart, Khols, Ross brands or Shein // mens or kids clothing

COMMON QUESTIONS

Q: How long until my consignment starts?

A: Typically we get them up within a week of receiving your clothes. (Larger batches or super busy seasons may take longer)

Q: When will I get paid?

A: Once we get all your items up online, we keep your items posted for 30-40 days. Once your 30-40 days is up we will send your payout!

Q: How do I get paid?

A: We pay out via Venmo, Cahsapp or Paypal.

Q: How much do I get per item?

A: We payout 50% of the profit. When an item sells, there is a small 10% fee (to help with wages, supplies, shipping, taxes etc...) then you get 50% of the profit!

Q: What happens to the items that don't sell?

A: If you mark that you want your items back on your consignment form, then you will be able to pickup those left over items - If you mark donate on your consignment form, they become property of Sage Resale, and may be donated.

WHATS THE PROCESS?

- Once we receive your clothes we will have them processed* and posted within typically within a week of receiving them.

*processed clothes include prepping your clothes, taking and editing multiple photos for each item, measuring, creating detailed descriptions, posting them to multiple selling platforms, marketing and promoting your items.

- For the next 30-40 days, or until all your items sell (whichever comes first), we will be constantly posting, promoting and communicating with buyers in order to sell your items.

- Once an item sells, we pack and ship your item(s) to the buyer!

- For each item sold, Sage takes a small fee of around 10% of the selling price - this helps with taxes/fees/supplies - 50% of the profit will then be added to your payout sheet.

At the end of your 30-40 days or when all of your items sell - we will pay you via Venmo, Cashapp or PayPal

That’s it!! You send us your clothes, we do all the work and you get paid!!
